It's a girl!

After waiting for what seemed like forever, we finally had our first ultrasound yesterday and found out that we are having...A GIRL! A perfect 10 fingers, 10 toes, no facial deformities, best brain the Dr. had seen all day, perfectly developing girl! I just knew that it was a girl. Jeremy now knows the full power of karma...

The ultrasound was so amazing. She moved and wiggled and punched at the ultrasound wand. When the ultrasound first started she was on her stomach with her arms tucked underneath and her booty stuck straight in the air. After a little poking and coaxing she started rolling over and did the splits, leaving no mystery to her sex. We got a lot of great views of her and it was so fun to poke on my stomach to see her reactions. Her developement is exactly what it should be for 18 weeks and 3 days. Her heart and brain and kidneys and spine are all perfect. She weighs 9 ounces. I have been feeling her move quite a bit in the last week, which is very strange and sometimes creeps me out a little. The glimpse of her yesterday made all the misery of my first few months worth it!
